After having her braces removed aged 17, Cheyenne was left suffering with tooth decay that saw her rapidly lose sections of gum and eroded bones in her jaw.

She was in an extreme amount of pain and, after struggling to eat, lost 15 pounds in in just one month, claiming it was weight she ‘couldn’t afford to even lose.’

The content creator claimed that her dentist assessed the damage and suggested dentures because she ‘couldn’t afford the dental work,’ she explained.

Speaking about the dentist, she claimed: ‘He was a complete sadist and absolutely enjoyed pulling my teeth, after I paid and got the extractions he showed his true colors and was a total d***.’

In a video shared to TikTok, Cheyenne spoke about her decision to get dentures, and said: ‘I was so happy with my new smile but so disappointed that I couldn’t keep my natural teeth because of money.’

But now her condition is worsening and she has been desperately saving up to get permanent implants.

Cheyenne, who works as a full-time server and a part-time photographer, said she had been working double time in an attempt to save up.

She has also been seeking the financial help of others via a GoFundMe, where she explained: ‘It’s imperative that I get implants before my gums deteriorate anymore.’

And another simply added: ‘You look beautiful honey.’

Dentists say tooth decay is more likely to occur if you have braces because the lack of proper brushing can become a feeding ground for bacteria, increasing the risk of developing cavities.

But Cheyenne hasn’t revealed whether or not the braces themselves caused her dental problems or if it was due to a lack of care.
